I met Sean some 6 months ago and was introduced to his cakes... It’s not only the cakes that are quite simply sublime but it’s also Sean’s passion for producing top quality product day in day out. It’s rarely seen and even less in that art of baking. His ethos of producing exquisite combinations of flavours with traditional methods using local Sussex ingredients and producers is a real testament of his commitment to his business and that fact he clearly enjoys what he does. The result is a very high standard of a product that is very consistent and sits way above any other cake’s i have come across.
As mentioned I have made, eaten and cut a lot of cakes in my time being a Chef and Pastry Chef but I can honestly say that Country Farm Cakes are really the best I have tasted in my 16 year career as a chef...Sean and his team are setting the standard!

"I was fortunate to be introduced to Sean of Country Farm Cakes last year, particularly as we were trying to source “something different” to send to our clients at Christmas.
The variety of cakes Sean produced and the quality both in terms of presentation and taste were quite superior. Not only did we place a substantial order as gifts but our staff couldn’t resist the temptation from the ‘home baking’ smell in the office that they too placed orders as Christmas gifts. The mulled wine cakes in particular were a great success and delicious!
Sean certainly went the extra mile to ensure that our orders were fulfilled in time for Christmas posting and the response from our clients was extremely well received particularly as we are based in Sussex and Sean uses local ingredients.
