SHIPPING POLICY

We put the same care and attention in the packing of our cakes, as we do in the baking and we do everything we can to ensure your tasty goodies arrive in the same pristine condition as when they left our bakery.

To ensure the best possible service, we use APC Couriers 24 hour fully tracked service for the majority of our deliveries and Royal Mail Tracked for the  remainder. We feel that this offers our products the best possible safety in transit.

 

Your order will arrive in 2-3 days, however in very busy periods it may be a little longer, but you can of course phone us if you need it to arrive by a specific date. All parcels sent via APC Couriers are made Monday - Friday and will require a signature on receipt. If no one is at home, a card will be left and the courier will attempt re-delivery the next working day. All parcels sent via Royal Mail will be delivered with your regular post.

uk mainland deliveries

For orders up to the value of £29.99, standard delivery postage and packing is £4.50 per order, to one UK address. Your order will be dispatched via APC Couriers on a tracked 24 hour overnight service.

For orders over £30.00, standard delivery postage and packing is £6.50 per order to one UK address, regardless of how many cakes are in the order, up to 20kg in weight. Your order will be dispatched via APC Couriers on a 24 hour tracked service.

The delivery charges are the same for postcodes in these regions. However, to keep the postal charges the same as the mainland, your order will be dispatched via Royal Mail on a tracked 48 hour service. 

For orders up to the value of £29.99, standard delivery is £4.50 per order to one UK address.

For orders over £30.00, standard delivery is £6.50 per order to one UK address.

We put great care into everything we do and we want you to be happy when you buy from us. In the unlikely event that something is wrong, we will do everything we can to put it right.

We pack all our parcels very carefully in our mailing boxes to ensure they arrive in pristine condition. In the unfortunate event that your goods are damaged in transit, we will collect it and replace it. To arrange collection, please contact us with details of the damage, (photos are ideal) and the reason for the return. Damaged goods will be collected by Courier at our expense and at your convenience. If you are returning an order because you are not satisfied, please tell us why and send it back to us in it's original packaging. For our address details, see below. This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

If you are returning an item as a result of damage in transit or a fault on our part, we'll refund the delivery charges for both the initial order and the cost of returning the parcel. Please note, we would not refund delivery charges in all other circumstances where we are not at fault. Please note, in all other circumstances you would be responsible for the costs of returning items and the original postage and packing paid would not be refunded. We can arrange for collection at your expense if you cannot return them yourself but this would prove more expensive.

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel the contract for  the purchase of any item within 14 working days of delivery. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with any product that you have purchased from us, you may return it to us, at your expense, within 14 days from the date of dispatch.

 

Provided it is returned in its original packaging and the product has not been consumed other than is reasonable to establish the quality of the product you are not happy with, we will refund the entire purchase price including the cost of postage .If your returned order is damaged, not in the original packaging or consumed more than was reasonable to establish the quality of product, we reserve the right to levy a charge commensurate with that loss. If you wish to cancel your order, please let us know either in writing to the address below or via email to orders@countryfarmcakes.co.uk, giving the reason for the return as 'Contract Cancellation'. When you send the item back, please package it securely.
